Now there are four!
After last weekend's World Team Trials, Yianni Diakomihalis (65 kg), Kyle Dake (74 kg), and Nick Gwiazdowski (125 kg) secured their positions on Team USA for the upcoming World Championships in men's freestyle.
On Tuesday, the number of Spartan Combat RTC athletes competing in Oslo, Norway next month went up to four, as Youssif Hemida is entered at 125 kg, representing Egypt.
It will be the first time in World Championships competition for both Diakomihalis and Hemida.
Dake is a two-time World gold medalist with an Olympic bronze, while Gwiazdowski has twice earned bronze.
Dake, Gwiazdowski, and Hemida will begin action on October 2 in Oslo, with Diakomihalis beginning on the 3rd.
