
Jaxon Joy won another championship on Sunday at the Patriot Last Chance Open in Virginia.
The 149 pounder earned four bonus victories in four matches. He pinned Princeton's Chris Martino, then notched a pair of technical falls in the quarters and semis. In the finals, he majored Minnesota starter Drew Roberts in an 8-0 match.
Cash Henderson made the finals at heavyweight, dropping a 2-1 decision to American University starter William Jarrell on riding time. He began with a quality win with a fall at the third period buzzer over Minnesota's Bennett Tabor and then defeated Danny Church of Hofstra, 10-4, in the semis.
Ryder Yoshitake captured three wins at 149 on his way to the fifth place bout. He topped opponents from Lock Haven, Edinboro, and Hofstra.
Gabriel Bouyssou got his hand raised at 141 pounds.
