Spartan Combat RTC Welcomes Ben Honis!

Ben Honis is returning to Ithaca!

The 2019 Cornell University graduate has joined the Spartan Combat RTC, further boosting the upperweight group in Ithaca. Honis was an All-American for the Big Red at 197 pounds and has been active for Team Italy on the freestyle circuit internationally.

Honis took fifth at the 2024 World Championships and the 2023 European Championships, while nabbing bronze at the Budapest Ranking Series event in July 2025. He will compete at 97 kilograms.
