Kyle Dake won four NCAA championships at Cornell.
Now, he's added four World titles (plus an Olympic bronze) during his time in Ithaca.
Dake was one of four champions for Team USA, which earned the team crown.
In his opener at 74 kg, Dake bested Islambek Orozbekov (KGZ) 10-0 before posting another technical fall, this time 12-2, against Suldkhuu Olonbayar (MGL).
He then hit a "Dake bomb" five pointer, leading to a quick pin over Sagar Jaglan of India, and punching his ticket to the semis versus Iran's Yones Emami.
Dake trailed 2-0 at the break, but came back for a hard fought 2-2 criteria victory to earn a finals spot opposite Tajmuraz Salkazanov of Slovakia.
After grabbing an early lead, Dake never looked back in a 3-1 decision.
Congratulations to Kyle on his fourth World championship!
