Simon Ruiz won his third consecutive college tournament, this time at the Cleveland State Open on Saturday. He bonused his way through the event, starting with a pin at 174 pounds.

Ruiz then captured three in a row by technical fall, outscoring his opponents 48-3. In the finals, he received a medical forfeit. He is now 17-1 with 15 bonus point victories this season.
Tyler Ferrara (133) won three bouts, including two majors. Both losses were by one point to eventual placers.
At 174, Zahir McLean-Felix earned a pair of victories, including an 11-2 major decision.
Mac Calavitta (149) and Carson Crace (184) each picked up a win, while Ernie Perry (125), Carter Tate (141), Buzzy Bomberger (157), Roberto Padilla (165), and Tyson Carroll (285) also represented Spartan Combat RTC.
